To promote the art of Corinthian yachting and navigation and to arrange and conduct social activities towards further development of fellowship and seamanship. We promote all things water related.
The Club is located at the northern end of Belmont Harbor in Chicago. It was founded in 1973 by boating enthusiasts whose common interest was boating and its reward of personal recreation. Through more than thirty years, the Club has shared those rewards with new members who also wanted to participate in a fraternal organization. Membership in the Belmont Yacht Club is open to all who share a common interest and enthusiasm in recreational boating, whether power or sail.
